Changes and The Routine

The apple template was getting old, so I decided to switch to something different... kind of obvious, huh!

I don't know if it's because I'm a homeschool mother and this happens to be the month of January, but "routine" is a word I can relate to very well. To be honest though, many times I find comfort in the same location, same schedule, same friends, etc. Especially when I think of the alternative, such as the routine being broken by difficult and unforeseen circumstances. Which leads me to mention that I'm very thankful my husband is home after a stay in the hospital a few days ago- he was working in some fiberglass which caused him to develop an allergic reaction or a chemical asthma. His oxygen level began to plummet, among other symptoms. After being very miserable and suffering for about 3 days, he decided to go to the Dr... The Dr. sent him straight to the hospital. Breathing treatments, antibiotics and steroids have been his "story" since then. He's doing much better. We're so glad he's home! Routine is coming back into the Plemmons household slow but sure. And I'm seeking radiance in knowing God is with us in the routine OR extraordinary days of our lives!

Cute template! Glad your husband is on the mend. That sounds scary!
I too like "routine"! I once stayed at a job I didn't like for about 6 years because I feared "change!" I am one that keeps my furniture and pictures in the same place forever, same hairstyle, (HA!) etc! I don't know why I feer it so much, because when my routine is changed, I always survive and sometimes even like it better!

Oooh, your new template is so pretty!

I'm glad Dan is doing much better. I completely relate to the whole "routine" scenario too. I do love me a good routine! :)

We should chat homeschooling sometime. :) What curriculum do you use? (Have you always homeschooled your two?)

Nice background for your blog. I like it. I thought for a minute I had clicked on the wrong site. I like it. I am glad Dan is home too, but if he ever says 'don't tell my family so they won't worry' again, you had better not listen and at least give us a heads up. We worry now because we are afraid he will be in and not tell us. Thus the phone calls. You do a great job on your blog and I love to read it. Love ya! You are a great sister-in-law.

Glad Dan is doing better. I'm sure that was just a tad bit scary! I think I would hyperventilate if I couldn't breath! :)

I meant "fear" up on the first comment! I really do know how to spell...

Leah, I love your blog and I love your new template. You do a great job with your blog. I love reading your blog too. i like routine too. I am glad Dan is doing better and is at home. I know all about the breathing as I have asthma. Thank God this winter so far I have been good. How is your job going? How many hours a week do you work? I love to shop at Joannes.

Wow, how scary! I love routine too. Tony is the "change agent" around here and sometimes it stresses me out. But he knows how much he can push to get away with and also when to quit :)

I love the new look. I'm one that likes change, but don't always get around to doing it!
Glad Dad is feeling better. That is scary!

I like your new template! Sorry to hear Dan has been sick. Is he really Jody J's Dad? :-)
