It's All My Fault!

Today on a MI 8 lane highway, I pulled out in front of someone. I didn't see a white cargo van coming my way, and the front part of our Lincoln was hit with tremendous force. Amber and I are fine. I should say, I'm VERY thankful Amber is fine, because if I would have pulled forward about two more feet, the impact would have been directly into the passenger's side, and I doubt she would still be with us. The people in the other vehicle are fine. Fortunately, both vehicles were older and of a larger size. As it was, most of the damage was done to the front part of our vehicle. The airbag exploded, and my door was jammed. The person who hit us, seemed to be of Arab descent... He came up and was hollering and pointing, and seemed very angry--- I guess he had reason to be. We apologized over and over again. His demeanor changed rather quickly. It shook us up quite badly, and we're starting to feel stiff and sore, but otherwise- we're just very grateful! I had asked Amber to drive when we left, she normally always does now. She said, "no" (for some reason). I'm so thankful that she wasn't driving. She has her permit, but will be eligible to get her license in a few weeks.

Leah,
I'm so glad you and Amber are ok. Bro. Miller preached Sunday morning at our church about interuptions in our lives. Certainly this is one. That's why we have alters where ever we make them. Trust every thing will turn out ok. I try to pray for you all every day.
Love, mom

Mom told us tonight about your accident. Wow, that must have been very scary and traumatic! Having someone yelling at you certainly wouldn't have helped! Glad that you both are alright! Thank the Lord for His protecting hand!

Easter week can be extremely busy in a pastor's home without the trama of an accident. I trust the rest of your Easter Holiday will be much more relaxing. Thank the Lord for sparing both of you. You are so important to so many people.

I am to glad you are OK and will just trust that the Lord supplies you with the right vehicle to replace the one you had. Thank the Lord you weren't a couple of feet further in the road. God is good ALL of the time.
