Feeling All Warm And Fuzzy

The next day and a half around here are going to be quite rare. Dan is taking the kids to Ohio so that Amber can do a Stanford Achievement Test at the Lima Pilgrim School, which happens to be near his parents. So they will be staying with his parents during this time. I'm staying home to work. I'm also hoping to paint Clayton's room. It's been a light blue for 9 yrs. and we're quite ready for a change. Why am I feeling all warm and fuzzy??? Certainly not because I will be alone! But, last night, Clayton's male "protective" instincts must have been kicking in, as out of the blue in such a caring voice he asked, "Are you sure you're going to be ok while we're gone?" That just made my day!!

How thoughtful of him! Hope you get a lot done while they are away. Maybe it will help the time "fly" by.

Hi Leah. It's Crystal's friend Marsha. Thanks for the nice comment on my blog. I've enjoyed reading yours too. This blogging thing is pretty cool. I can't believe the strong family resemblance with your kids & Crystal's!

Hey - I'm glad you were able to have a little time alone...it does help us to accomplish something when we're not hearing "MOM!!!" all day long! :)
I had Amber in my class yesterday...I'm sure she enjoyed listening to my barky voice all day, as I've been dealing with a nasty cold.
Hope Clayton's "new" room looks good! That was so sweet of him to think about you! My boys are capable of that every now and then! :)

AWWW - He is worried about his momma! That is adorable! Mom said tonight, "I think Clayton must have been anxious to go home today. He was pretty active. I think he was excited." Isn't that cute?!?! I'm sure you missed them too. Mom and dad sure enjoyed having them though. I'll see you in less than three weeks. I'm excited!!!!
